Seeking a Bilingual Finish Carpenter

$28–$38/hour (based on experience)

We are hiring a skilled, bilingual (Portuguese & English) carpenter to join our remodeling team. This position is ideal for a craftsman who takes pride in precision work, communicates clearly, and thrives in a structured, professional environment.


This is not a handyman position. We are looking for an experienced residential remodeling carpenter.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Install cabinetry, vanities, and built-ins
  • Execute finish carpentry including crown, base, casing, wainscoting, and detailed trim
  • Frame non-load bearing and load-bearing walls in remodeling settings
  • Install interior doors, windows, siding, and millwork
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and work orders
  • Create material lists and coordinate purchases with Project Manager
  • Protect client homes and maintain clean, professional job sites
  • Communicate clearly with both English- and Portuguese-speaking team members
  • Work independently when required and within a team environment


Requirements

  • 5+ years of residential remodeling experience
  • Fluent in Portuguese and conversational-to-strong English (required)
  • Strong finish carpentry skills (must have built-ins and cabinet installation experience)
  • Ability to identify load-bearing walls and understand framing layout
  • Experience working in occupied homes
  • Valid driver’s license
  • OSHA 10 preferred
  • Professional appearance and strong customer communication skills
