The first thing that jumps out to me when I look at kitchen cabinets is what I call “the space between”. If your cabinets do not meet the ceiling then there is space between the top of the cabinets and the ceilings. The problem is that space emphasizes the fact that the cabinets just look like boxes attached to the wall. By adding crown you can minimize the “space between”. This will give your kitchen cabinets a more custom look and make the final look after painting more dramatic.
